Trout Stocked in TaHaZouka Park

NORFOLK - Attention all fishermen -- trout will be biting at TaHaZouka Park beginning tomorrow. Jeff Schuckman, district fisheries supervisor with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, says 1500 10-inch trout will be released at 9 a.m. Saturday in the lagoon at TaHaZouka. Schuckman says anglers are encouraged to catch these trout, since they will not survive through the summer in the lagoon. Trout are also being stocked in Columbus at Pawnee Park East and in the lower pond at Niobrara State Park.
