Coach Bo Pelini unveiled the rosters for Nebraska's annual spring game during practice yesterday in Memorial Stadium. The rosters for the Red and White squads were decided following a team draft. Pelini says it was "split pretty much down the middle," and he thought it came out the right way. Quarterback Joe Ganz will lead the Red squad comprised of I-back Marlon Lucky, receiver Nate Swift, offensive linemen Lydon Murtha and Matt Slauson, defensive linemen Zach Potter and Armando Murillo, and middle linebacker Phillip Dillard. The White squad will be quarterbacked by Zac Lee and Patrick Witt. They'll lead I-backs Roy Helu Jr. and Quentin Castille, senior wide receiver Todd Peterson, center Jacob Hickman, guard Mike Huff and tackle Jaivorio Burkes. I-back turned linebacker Cody Glenn and safety Larry Asante will join Barry Turner and Ty Steinkuhler on defense.

As Joba Chamberlain missed his third straight game to be with his stricken father, the New York Yankees say Harlan Chamberlain is feeling better. Joba Chamberlain left the team Monday, a day after his father collapsed, and traveled to Nebraska to be with his dad. Yankees manager Joe Girardi says yesterday that Harlan Chamberlain has been on a ventilator about 40-50 percent of the time, but he's been able to sit up. Girardi isn't sure when the reliever will be able to rejoin the Yankees. He says more tests still need to be done on Harlan Chamberlain.
